My client is a growing company with a strong client list.  They offer free parking on site and it also easy to get to via bus or train.  There are a number of shops and cafes in the village and these are easily reachable during lunch breaks.  The office is small but very friendly and the other admin staff all work together as a team.

The role would suit someone with some office experience though we would seriously consider someone who is articulate and is keen to start working in an office.   You must have good attention to detail and be professional in your approach.

Ideally the successful candidate will be quite local to Stanstead Abbotts and must have passed English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent. 

The role will be general administration including filing, archiving documents, database input and maintenance, typing documents (letters, emails) and other general clerical duties. 

As part of the admin team, it will also include opening the post and distributing it, some banking of cheques, answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with cold calls, queries and assisting clients as necessary, general admin support, covering for holidays, assisting with sales admin, assisting with monthly invoicing, ordering stationery and maintaining a clean and tidy office.

This company is well established and working in the construction industry.  There is free parking on site and they are close to the railway station.  The office is a modern one and all the staff there get on with each other really well. 

You will be working with the director and the role is mainly admin which will see you filling in pre qualification questionnaires (PQQs) for bidding and tendering.  You must be well organised and a clear communicator both in written and oral forms.

There will also be an element of telemarketing whereby you update the database with new businesses and email addresses etc.

The role will be part time to suit you so this may be 3-5 hours each day or perhaps 2-3 days a week.  It will be pro rata against a salary level of £22k - £27k for a full time person.

This role will see you supporting and report to the office manager doing tasks such as filing, answering the telephone, photocopying, keeping records on excel spreadsheets, incoming and outgoing post, data entry, minutes of meetings, some stock taking and rota work.

The role will develop as you are mentored to do more and you will learn from the office manager how to use their bespoke software to schedule the field staff.  Once you are trained you may get a chance to cover emergencies when they happen which couldmean you going out to clients and getting mileage for doing so.  You will also take care of some recruitment applications and some individual support plans for the field staff.

My client is based close to the main town centre in Enfield Town and offers free parking on site.  The company is long established and a leader in its field, a well known name.

The role will consist of taking information from incoming faxes, emails, letters and telephone calls and keeping records on excel spreadsheets, passing relevent details across to the finance team.  You will be communicating with external suppliers and taking information from them as well as from employees who work away from HQ.  This data will be entered into the spreadsheets to keep correct records.  The details of this can be explained in more detail later.

For this role you will need to be available to work Monday to Friday each week for 4 to 5 hours each day.  You will be using excel so you will need to be of a good standard with this tool and also be accurate and fast with data entry.  You will also need to have a good head for fuigure work so we expect you to be especially numerate and have a good grade in Maths GCSE or equivalent.

You should be someone with good and clear communication skills especially over the telephone and also have strong attention to detail.  If you are able to work Monday to Friday for between 20 and 25 hours a week, have previous office experience and can use excel then you could be considered for this role.  If you do not have these skills and experience as a minimum then please do not apply.
